The Compaq Presario may work with older games, but I would check for newer drivers for the video subsystem. Even if your machine uses an Intel video subsystem, you may be dealing with “rushed-out” video drivers. As well, check that the screen resolution is correct for the game. Tengo un Compaq presario cq42 nootebook con 465 gbs de disco duro 2 gb de ram y windows 7 ultimate lo compre hace 3 meses y me ha funcionado bn.. me gusta mucho .. tengo un procesador atlom dual core … creo ke lo unico raro son los controladores de la targeta de video ke es amd en algunos videos de juegos se ve un pokito distorcionado .. no se si seran juegos ke salieron hace mucho como warcraft 3 de hace como 9 añoz xd al igual no me a dado problema mayor alguno y viene con microsof security Essencials .. de pcs no se mucho kiero saber si compre un buen pc o me deje estafar xd gracias xd

The lack of a backlight on the LCD is very annoying. I can barely read it with the office lighting I have. How much could this cost Brother to include it so the users could use their machine?

I think I see where you have gotten confused here, you can change the colour output through the HDMI to YCC or RGB. This setting does not turn the Component YCC to RGB unfortunately. So in fact it doesn’t put new life into older RGB televisions I would say it’s a poor review but I can understand why you made that mistake.

The current version of ePrint Home & Biz doesn’t support duplex scanning. It is something that may be looked into for the mobile app. This is because this printer, along with its predecessor and the Photosmart C410a all have this feature.

Thanks, I just read your review of the Brother MFC-J6910DW. From other reviews, I gather it’s a bit more expensive to run (costs per page) than the HP. But otherwise, would you consider it to be comparable?

Alternatively, between the HP and the Canon Pixma series, do you know which printer has better/faster scanners?

I would consider the Brother MFC-J6910DW which is an A3 unit with SINGLE-PASS duplex scan for A4. Have reviewed it earlier in the site and is slightly cheaper.

The problem is that Continental European landline ISPs don’t set up 24-month plans as readily as mobile carriers. Run the Kabel Deutschland 12-month plan and at the end, look for cheaper deals.

so iam new in germuzany and i buy a stiick which is by far more expensive and slow!!! i would like to visit kabel deutchland but my only concern is that for the minimum lenght of a contract!!! is there any contract for a year;; cause i would like to make a contract for 2 years or more..thx for this post i w8 ur reply

I haven’t had any issue with this machine, but it is definitely NOT a “laptop”, it just weighs a ton. Carrying it for more than 5 minutes is definitely a chore, and forget using it on your “lap”.

Mines well built and reliable and very powerful (work bought it for me, i use it every day), but think of it as a portable desktop, you will DEFINITELY not want to carry it to and from work every day!
